After 7 days of enjoying all of the beautiful length, thickness, shine, and vibrant color my hair extensions provide; if you are unhappy in any way, I will either correct the problem or remove your extensions and refund to you my fee for service.

This does not include the cost of the hair, only my fee. In order to qualify for this refund you must have the extensions removed by me within the first 2 weeks of your original application.

What is the process for getting this done?

First we have a consultation.

You can call me, or text me and we will set up a free, one hour appointment at my salon for a consultation.

At the consultation, we will:

Choose an exact custom color blend of one or multiple colors we will use.
Choose your desired length of hair.
Determine how much hair we will need to order to give you the proper amount of hair needed to blend to the density or thickness of your own hair.
We will determine a price, and you will place a 50% deposit to purchase your hair and reserve your appointment time. (Note: cancellations made under 48 hours of your appointment time, and no-shows will result in the loss of your deposit.)

On your appointment day:

For the fastest procedure, please arrive at your appointment time with clean, dry, hair. Two shampoos and use conditioner ONLY at the ends of your hair. Do not use shampoos containing silicone or oils. If you are unable to do this, I will be happy do do it for you.
The application itself will take between 1 1/2 to 3 hours depending on how much hair we use and the number of different colors we use. Typically it's around 2 hours.
Once the application is complete, I will cut the extension hair minimally in order to create a seamless blend to your own hair.

After your appointment:

I will provide you for a set of guidelines and instructions to properly care for your extensions.
You will want to go for 48 hours without shampooing your hair in order for the bonds to set and cure. I have dry shampoo available if you prefer.
We will schedule a maintenance visit and your follow-up appointment to change out your hair in about 3 months.
At your subsequent appointments, we will need to schedule additional time to remove your old extensions. This takes around 1-2 hours at the rate of $150 per hour.

What type of extensions do you provide?

I use pre-bonded, keratin tipped, individual, human hair extensions.

They provide the best, safest, and most natural-looking hair extensions available on the market.

Do you do tapes, braided wefts, or I-tip extensions?

No.

I avoid those methods because they are the most damaging to the hair and they don't look real.

How long do they last?

I normally recommend that my clients have their extensions replaced once every 3 months. I recommend less time if a client's hair is abnormally fragile and more time if their hair is particularly robust.

How long does my existing hair need to be before I can get extensions? ?

Typically your own hair needs to be at least chin - length or an off the shoulder bob - length in order top go from short hair to long hair.

This is because you need to have enough "starter length" in order to have the end result look real.

If your goal is just adding some thickness to your existing length, this method works very well, in certain circumstances.

it is not possible to go from short "pixie length" hair to long hair using extensions. it just doesn't work.

How much does it cost?

The price range goes from a small amount of hair in a short length at $360 to a large amount of hair in a very long length $2,000 +

For the look that most people are trying to achieve, the average price is between $1,520 to around $2,000.

Why is it "so expensive"?

The price is determined by a number of factors...

-The quality of the hair.

I use the highest quality 100% human hair extensions available on the market.

Throughout my 20 years of experience in doing extensions this is the MOST important consideration. You CAN find less expensive hair, however in my experience, the cheaper the hair, the more problems the hair will have. Discount hair extension suppliers treat their hair with chemicals that provide a TEMPORARY experience of wonderful, silky-smooth hair. This will disappear after a couple of shampoos and what you are left with is a tangled mess.

Believe me... if there was something better out there that performed as well or better than what I use at a better price, I would be using it, and I would be charging less. The cost of the hair itself is typically 30% to 50% of the overall price.

-The length and quantity of the hair.

The longer the hair gets and the more hair you use, the higher the price.

-My Expertise.

Over the past 20 years I have continually worked towards perfecting my technique. I still do.

90% of the stylists who do this type of extensions have very little experience and it is not uncommon for them to have fewer than 2-4 clients they perform the service on YEARLY.

Can I just buy the hair from you without having you put it in?

No.

I am not a retailer. All of the hair that I "sell" is included as part of the application service.

Can the hair be reused?
